1960

* Eight clubs withdrew from the Western Australian
Soccer Football Association (WASFA) in July 1960
to form WA's first official semi-professional league,
which was called the Western Australian Soccer Federation.
WASFA continued for two more seasons, but due to more
clubs joining the new Federation, it was forced to cease
  after the 1962 season.

* The Western Australian Soccer Federation changed it's name
to the Soccer Federation of Western Australia (SFWA) in 1964.
